The Shire of Dandaragan will bring forward the prohibited burning season, due to dry seasonal conditions and high risk of fire. As of Monday 15 October, the prohibited burning period comes into effect which means there will be strictly no burning up until 28th February 2018.

The Telstra Store in Ocean Keys is coming to Cervantes to provide information to our customers in relation to the NBN, whilst at the same time, provide a fund raising opportunity for the local primary School. We are also sponsoring a visit to the school by Caitlyn Basset, who will run a session for the upper primary students on cyber safety. Our dates of our visit will be the 13th and 14th October, opposite the shops as well as September 19th at the school.
