The Shire of Dandaragan will, in its annual budget, allocate 1% of total budgeted rates to assist sporting and recreational groups with the replacement, renewal and improvement of capital infrastructure.  The Shire's funding will comprise no more than one third of the total project cost.

Applications to the program will be advertised in April of each year and close in May, with funds allocated in July.  Because projects under this scheme are major projects, clubs are requested to plan more than one year in advance.

To be eligible for funding under this program, applicants must:

  • Submit a Community Sport Recreation Facilities Fund Application (CSRFF) to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, or an application to another funding source for the project;
  • Contribute a minimum of 1/6th of the total project cost in cash.

If you require further information on funding partnerships and opportunities, please contact Rhiarn Sutton, Shire of Dandaragan Community Development Officer on (08) 9652 0800 or email cdo@dandaragan.wa.gov.au
