Gifts & Travel Register

Elected Members & the CEO Gift Register

The Shire must maintain a register of gifts (including contributions to travel) for Elected Members and the Chief Executive Officer. 

Requirements

The Local Government Act 1995 requires Elected Members and the CEO to disclose gifts which are valued over $300, or are two or more gifts with a cumulative value over $300 (where the gifts are received from the same donor in a 12-month period) within 10 days of receipt.

The Shire's current Gift Register for Elected Members and the CEO contains disclosures made since Wednesday 1 January 2000. 

Elected Members & the CEO Gifts & Contributions to Travel Register

Employee Gift Register

The Shire must maintain a register of gifts for Employees. 

Requirements

The Local Government Act 1995 requires an employee to disclose a gift worth valued between $50 and $300, or if there are two or more gifts with a cumulative value (where the gifts are received from the same donor within a 6-month period).

The Shire's current Gift Register for Employees contains disclosures made since Wednesday 1 January 2000.
