Notice of Public Advertisement - Jurien Bay Foreshore – Concept Ideas Open for Community Feedback
Posted: 24/10/2025 Closing Date: 12/12/2025 04:00 PM
The Shire of Dandaragan is reviewing and updating the Jurien Bay Foreshore Masterplan to ensure the area continues to meet the needs of our growing community and visitors.
The foreshore is a key destination for recreation, tourism, and local events. This review aims to enhance its functionality, accessibility, and overall experience.
The updated masterplan will address important elements such as parking availability, public toilet facilities, improved lighting for safety and usability, and additional shaded areas to provide comfort for families and visitors throughout the year.
Following a proposal for a new hospitality option at the foreshore, we are seeking community feedback on possible commercial layouts. These ideas are not final, and any future development would be subject to a formal public comment process as part of the development application process.
We are keen to hear your thoughts on the concepts and the proposed elements for inclusion in the masterplan.
To support community discussion, the Shire will host informal drop-in sessions at the Shire Administration Office on the following dates:
- Wednesday, 5 November, 4.30pm-6pm
- Wednesday, 12 November, 11.30am-1pm
Alternatively, you can view the updated masterplan, concept plans and other supporting information on the Shire’s Website and provide feedback:
- In-person at the Shire Administration Office, 69 Bashford Street, Jurien Bay
Feedback closes: 4.00pm Friday, 12 December 2025
