Expression of Interest – Public Arts Committee (PAC)

The Shire of Dandaragan is seeking one community member to join the Public Arts Committee (PAC) for a one-year term.

At the October 2025 Council Meeting, Council endorsed the extension of the current committee members’ term for an additional year and approved the advertisement for the vacant position one (1) on the committee.

The PAC advises Council on public art projects, helping to guide the selection, commissioning, and management of artworks across the Shire. Members provide advice, represent community views, and contribute to decisions about public art in local spaces.

We encourage applications from people who:

• People with experience or interest in arts, indigenous culture, tourism, youth engagement, or heritage

• Those with an appreciation of public art and experience working with the community

Term and Meetings:

• One (1) vacancy

• One-year term with the option to reapply

• Meets approximately four times per year at the Shire Administration Centre, Jurien Bay (online attendance possible with prior notice)
