I am a passionate Shire of Dandaragan community member who strives to ensure regional communities get the support they need.  I have enjoyed my Council role over the last few years and endeavour to tackle the tougher challenges on behalf of the shire.  Some of these roles, such as the Avon-Midland Zone Representative, take me into the neighbouring shires, where I advocate on behalf of our shire, to ensure our issues are heard.  A significant priority for me is the regular fish kills at the Jurien Bay Marina.  This is an environmental and economic disaster and I will continue to raise the profile of the issue until funding is sourced and a permanent solution is constructed.  I am also determined to encourage more age care facilities across our shire, in particular appropriate medical services.
