An Evening Under the Stars Brings Community Together
Despite a little unexpected rain, the recent Stargazing – An Evening Under the Stars event brought community members together for an enjoyable evening of astronomy, discovery and connection.
The event offered attendees an opportunity to learn more about the wonders of the night sky, with astronomers from Star Tracks Astro Events and Carol from Astrotourism WA sharing their knowledge, expertise and passion for astronomy.
Although the rain arrived earlier than anticipated and cut the evening short, it didn't dampen the spirits of those who attended. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy live music, watch the sunset and discover more about the stars above.
The stargazing evening was held as part of the WA Parks Foundation's Spring into Parks initiative, supported by Lotterywest. The initiative encourages Western Australians to connect with nature, explore the outdoors and enjoy unique experiences in their local communities.
A special thank you goes to Star Tracks Astro Events and Astrotourism WA for sharing their time and expertise, and to everyone who came along and helped make the evening a memorable one.
