Current Consultations

The Shire of Dandaragan is reviewing its Municipal Inventory of Heritage Places, in line with the Heritage Act 2018. Heritage consultant Laura Gray will reassess existing sites and consider new places of cultural significance nominated by the community. Places of higher significance will form a Heritage List, with owner consultation an important part of the process.

The Dandaragan Recreation Precinct Plan sets a clear vision for the future of sport, recreation, and community spaces in Dandaragan. Shaped by community feedback, the Plan outlines priorities for upgrading facilities, improving accessibility, and creating inclusive spaces that support health, wellbeing, and social connection.

The Shire of Dandaragan has released its Draft Community Development Plan 2025–2029, which brings together strategies for youth, ageing, clubs, volunteers, and access and inclusion into one framework. The Plan focuses on education, health and wellbeing, community participation, and accessibility, aiming to build a vibrant and connected community. We are now seeking community feedback to ensure the final Plan reflects local needs and aspirations.
