Jurien Bay Wellness Centre

Jurien Bay’s Wellness Centre has provided five consultation rooms for medical and allied health services.

A joint project involving the Shires of Gingin and Dandaragan, the facility received $650,000 of funding from the Country Local Government Fund, provided by Royalties for Regions.

Member for Moore, Shane Love said the new and expanded medical facilities would be welcomed in Jurien Bay - “Jurien Bay’s Medical Centre was built for a static population,” he said. “The Wellness Centre provides greater capacity in response to a need highlighted in the Shire of Dandaragan’s Aged Care and Health Plan.”

The building was officially opened by Mr Love in January 2014 with tenants moving into the space shortly after.
