The Shire advises that due to Christmas Day and Boxing Day falling on Monday and Tuesday during Christmas week 2023, changes will be made to general waste and recycling collections as follows:
General Waste: Badgingarra, Cervantes, Dandaragan, bins, due to be emptied on Monday, 25 December 2023, will now be serviced on Saturday, 23 December 2023.
Jurien Bay Street and Commercial bins normally due to be emptied on Monday, 25 December 2023, will be emptied on Saturday, 23 December 2023 due to Christmas week 2023 only.
Recycle Waste: Jurien Bay townsite recycle bins due to be collected on Tuesday, 26 December 2023, will be serviced on Wednesday, 27 December 2023.
Weekly recycling in Jurien Bay townsite and Alta Mare and Jurien Heights Estates will commence week Tuesday, 19 December 2023 and run right through to Wednesday, 7 February 2024. After this date recycle rubbish collection will revert back to normal fortnightly collection.
