Councillor Rob Shanhun has resigned from his role as a Councillor with the Shire of Dandaragan, effective Friday 15 December 2023. Over the course of the last six years, Rob has dedicated his time and efforts to serving as a valuable member on Council.
The Shire President, Cr Tony O’Gorman, noted that since being elected in 2017, Rob has always been passionate about the local community and has been a significant part of developing Council's current strategic direction. Rob's background in State and Local Government community development roles has been an asset to the local community and we wish Rob all the best in his future endeavours.
The Shire of Dandaragan will hold an extraordinary election to fill this vacancy in early 2024 of which more details will be available over the coming weeks.
