A pest control program is scheduled to be undertaken at Cervantes Primary School.
Preparation works have begun, with the program expected to be well underway by 16 December 2022, and all major works completed by 30 January 2023. Follow up work is expected to continue until 1 April 2023.
Parents and students, please be advised, that there is no access to the school grounds for the duration of the December/January school holidays. Entry is restricted to authorised personnel only.
The Department of Education has engaged Midwest Professional Shooting and Pest Management (Department of Health Licence Number 2295) to undertake all work necessary to complete this program. Licenced pest management technicians will be operating at different stages, including night works. Schedules and times will remain confidential.
Restricted access areas to authorised personnel only will be in place. Please observe all signage and barrier tape. 4G CCTV will be installed for the duration of the program. Unauthorised entry by any persons is an offence and penalties may apply.
This program is undertaken in accordance with the Biosecurity and Agricultural Management Act 2007. The codes and practices identified under the Animal Welfare Act 2002.
