Tip Passes
Tip passes are provided to all ratepayers who pay for a rubbish service on their rate notice.
They will allow the ratepayer to visit either the landfill site or waste transfer station for free on six (6) occasions as long as the refuse is domestic waste only.
The free tip passes are intended for people who need to deposit household or domestic refuse that they cannot fit into their 240ltr SULO bin.
Domestic waste is refuse that comes from the house, not from a commercial use ie builders rubble, waste from a hairdresser etc.
If you are renting, contact your landlord for the tip pass or pay the fees if you visit the transfer station or landfill site.
