NEW - Kerbside Recycling Program

The Shire of Dandaragan introduced a kerbside recycling collection in July 2009.

The collection is offered to townsite residents and the properties in Alta Mare, Jurien Bay Heights, Marine Fields and Hill River.

The Collection has been split into two zones:

ZONE 1 includes all properties on the ocean side of Bashford Street

ZONE 2 includes all other areas of Jurien Bay (inland side of Bashford Street), Cervantes, Badgingarra, Dandaragan, Alta Mare, Jurien Bay Heights, Hill River and Marine Fields.

Recycling Collection Calendar

Properties in Zone 1 have their recycling bins collected on the days highlighted by the blue squares

Properties in Zone 2 have their recycling bins collected on the days highlighted by the green squares

What Can Be Recycled

Materials that can be put in your yellow topped recycling bin are:

Plastic with a 1, 2 or 3 printed on the base.

Cardboard.

Glass - please don’t put broken glass or pyrex in the bin.

Aluminium and Steel.

Paper including newspaper, magazines and office paper.
