Bushfire/Firebreak Information

The Council sets strict guidelines with regards to burning and installation of Fire Breaks. Failure to comply with these guidelines may incur a fine.

1st November – 14th February
STRICTLY NO BURNING!

19th September – 31st October & 15th February – 29th March
PERMITS ARE REQUIRED and neighbours to be notified.

Due Dates in which Fire Breaks and / or Fire hazard reduction must be installed are as follows:

Jurien Bay & Cervantes Townsites
15th November

Badgingarra & Dandaragan Townsites
1st November
