Facilities

Council owns several buildings and facilities in each of it towns that can be rented to the public for Sporting Events, Meetings and Functions.

Dandaragan

Community Recreation Centre and Oval

Located at the JC Grieve Sportsground. Bookings for the Recreation Centre can be made through Landmark on (08) 96514 088. This facility accommodates a variety of activities covering both sports and cultural recreation. Bookings for the oval can be made at the Shire Office on (08) 9651 4010

Pioneer Park – Transit Caravan Park

Bookings can be made through the Dandaragan Shire Office on (08) 9651 4010. The park has eight powered sites with BBQ facilities available. Pioneer Park also hosts the new War Memorial

Badgingarra

Community Recreation Centre and Oval

Accommodates a wide range of activities of both a sport and cultural nature. Bookings can be made by contacting Nicki Wilkinson on (08) 9652 9111.

Jurien Bay

Community Centre (JCC) and Oval

Located on the northern end of Bashford Street. This facility is a venue for both sporting and cultural activities. Bookings can be made by calling Claudia Mason on (08) 9652 2312.

Family Resource Centre

The recently completed Family Resource Centre has 2 offices, multi purpose Meeting Facility and Kitchen that can be hired at hourly or daily charges. Contact the Shire Office – Jurien on (08) 9652 0800 for Bookings.

Recreational Parks

Various parks are located throughout the townsite for community use.

Cervantes

Cervantes Gym Hall and Oval

This facility is situated on Aragon Street and is open for all sporting and cultural events. Bookings can be arranged through Thirsty Point Liquor Store on 9652 7300.
